Submitted by Robert L Bacon of East Thetford, VT who says "In searching for
our ancestors, brother Arthur and i visited the "Roots Cellar" in Montpelier
and copied all the Bacon vital records located there. These are
[publlished] in 4 groups: 1760-1870, 1871-1908, 1909-1941 and 1942-1954
(later records are at present in Burlington)> Most of the records were
hand-written with some entries practically undecipherable. We tried to copy
everthing vital exactly as given. We apologize for any mistakes we may have
made.... [I add my disclaimer also - I apologize for any mistakes I make in
transcribing this information, Mary Lou] These are done alphabetically.
