Thanks for your message. Actually I know very little about Albert Bader, my grandfather and his wife Mary (or Amanda) Pfeiffer. I know that they lived in Galena, Illinois when they had my father, Leslie Charles Bader in 1917 and his brother Melvin before him. I am not sure when their brothers Ray and Robert (?) and their sister Bertha (Bert) Bader (Parsons) were born (although I am quite sure it was before the beginning of the 1900s).
Melvin Bader lived in Galena all of his life. Ray lived in Merrimac, Wisconsin by that ferry which crosses the Wisconsin River near Baraboo--according to some photos I looked at one time, he even operated some kind of marina or similar business which could be seen by the boaters on the river. Bert lived with her husband John in Downers Grove, Illinois. Other than that, I know very little about them. Much of the info that I know is by looking at various artifacts and even medical records and making wild guesses.
