Hi BAER/Bair List,
I'm searching for information on my great-grandfather, JOHN (M.?) BAIR/BEAR/BAER?1829 ? PA.?
Brother DAVID BEAR/Baer/Bare? 1827 PA.?
were in Iowa 1850 census.David in Clayton CO. IA. John in Jackson CO. IA.
The BAER/BAIR/BEAR brothers married the WILSON sisters
David Bear Married Angeline Wilson after 1850 not found where or when?,
1st three children born in Iowa? ,1853 Mary Florence, 1854, G.W. (George William?)
1856, John, The rest born in KS. DEC.1857 Frank, 1861, Christie.(Christina?),
1865, Emma A.
1866, Sarah, 1870, Henry, 1873, Charles, (born after his father died Jan.1873)

I also found John Bear living with David Bear and Family on the 1856 Clayton CO. Iowa Census

John Bair/Bear Married Mary Ann Wilson April 9 1857, Clayton County Iowa,

Then, The John and David BAER/Bair/BEAR'S families moved to Franklin County Kansas April of 1857
per: 1859 Franklin County, Ohio Twp. Kansas Voting and Territory Census.
All of John and Mary Ann (Wilson) Bear Children were born in Kansas,
1858, Andrew, 1861 Eliza(Elizabeth?), 1867, Allice, 1870, George, 1874,Florence Sophie
and 1876, Ephreim B.(?) Bair (my Grandfather)

I found John BEAR (22) along with James BEAR (24) and Margaret BEAR (20) on 1850 Jackson CO.Census All living with Joseph (46) and Jane (24) SKINNER Family. Could these be Siblings??
Could JANE SKINNER be a BEAR? twin to James?

I have a list with the marriage of a Mary Bear to a Fred Minger 11/10/1856 Related?

John and David BAER/BAIR/Bear's Parents Unknown
Do Any of these Names sound familiar to Anyone?

Angeline and Mary Ann Wilson's Parents
Are Unknown (Wm.?) WILSON PA. and Christina(e?) FRY/Frey/Frye
daughter of George Fry, MD/VA.? and Elizabeth (?) Fry, Ger.
Christina Fry/WILSON/Faey (remarried Alex Faey 1851) She and her parents are buried in Clayton CO. IA.
Unknown Wilson is believed to be buried in Clayton CO. IA.? 1850

John,Mary Ann, David, Angeline Bair/Baer/Bare/Bear? and most of their Children are buried in Franklin County Kansas.
Lack of Schooling seems to be the problem with the spelling of their name?
I have more information.
I'm hoping someone can help me find the roots of these BAER/BAIR/BEAR guys,
