Anne & List, I answered this post this way. I do have the wrong b&d dates
for Mrs. Hale. (thanks to this newspaper article)
I have never been one to chase famous named decentness & I make no special
mention or reference to Nathan Hale on our website. ( Hanged by British as a
spy)
" regret that I have but one life to give to my country" That guy. Their is
lots of information that can be found on this Nathan Hale. He can be charted &
will fit in this line, if someone is inclined to do so. I don't have his
chart.
Someone did send me this site, it makes reference to him. <A HREF="http://www.cthum.org/Heritage/Trails/Quinebaug/halehouse.htm">Nathan Hale

This is Elizabeth Veronica keepers. I have b-Aug. 25 1809. d- Aug 18-1896.???
1809 & 87 is 1896. If transcriber is correct on the Sept 13-1895 date, then I
will have to re check her dates. She was married on Oct.11-1828 to (*Israell)
Foote Hale, b-4-21-1804 in Hartfort/Glastonbary Conn. d-11-21-1891 in
Randolph, CO. MO.
Eliz. & Israell are buried in Bagby family Cemetery, row #1
They had ten children. Their daughter Emma Foote Hale b-6-11-1895
d-2-15-1923 & wed on 5-5-1864 to Thomas Johnson Bagby, (Pvt. CSA)
b-6-16-1843. d-11-30-1931.
Both also in Bagby Cemetery.
Note: I think that the Thomas farm was southwest of Huntsville.
Source: Bagby bible & notes of Nellie (Dameron) Bagby, of Moberly.
Elizabeth's children & six generations of direct Hale ancestors maybe found
