G'day listers, this is a first posting to this list. My 3 x Great Grandparents James BAIN occupation Gardener, born 1821 Scotland and Marion CHRISTIE born 1821 near Edinburgh, were married16 Aug 1841 at St Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Scotland.

They left London 6 June 1849 aboard the ship "Larkins" arriving at Dunedin, Otago, South Island, New Zealand on 11 Sept 1849.
Accompanying them were their children John age 5, Catherine age 3 and James age 1.
Sons Charles and Alexander were born in Otago in 1859 and 1852 respectively.
