I am new to this list. This is a line that my father- in- law starting working on in the 1930's. I have hit the same brick wall that baffled him!

Looking for information on Michael Bair who died 1801 Fannet Twp, Franklin County, PA. His will and estate settlement name his wife and children. Dates are from cemetery records and information at Kittochtinny Historical Society, Chambersburg, PA.
Wife Margaret named in his will in 1801. She is not mentioned in the 1820 final settlement.
Children:
1. Rev David (1774-1853) married (1) ? and (2) Elizabeth Flickinger. Have more on his line.
2. John, - possibly the John b c1784, living Fannett Twp in 1850 census.
3. Samuel (1785-c1828) married Margaret Steel (1789-1862). She married (2) Jacob Coons/Koons. Have more on this line.
4. Elizabeth (1767-1850) married (1) __ Miller who died before 1801. She married (2) 1803 to (Rev?) John Bair as his second wife. He died c1831
5. Anna married a1820 Jacob Senseny.
6. Mary married a1820 Jacob Kling
7. Margaret married a1820 John Regan (1786-1876).

Family records state that Michael Bair (Bear/Bare et al) was born "Near the Mt Joy schoolhouse in Lancaster County PA."

Need the maiden name of Margaret, wife of Michael and the names of Michael's parents. Is there any proof that he was the son of Jacob Bear who 1769 Lancaster County? Who were the parents of Rev John Bair, the second husband of Elizabeth (Bair) Miller?
