Thanks for the info. Do you know anything more about these James Bairds. I
am looking for the father of Margaret Baird m. Henry Stampley whose father
was a James Baird. She was granted land in British West Florida in 1774 in
the the Natchez Territory on Boyd's Creek (now Cole's Creek in Jefferson
Co., MS).

Maybe one of these James Baird's transferred his land grant to his daughter
Margaret??? Any ideas???
