if there is anybody out that can help me, this would be great. i'm trying to
find out where my great,ect, grandfather lived and how he got to america
from ireland.

This is my great, great, great grandfather William Baird form Ireland.

I'm sorry I have to correct myself. My great grandfather came to SC in the
year 1769. (Not 1679).

This is was his name William Baird. He migrated from Ireland in the year of
1769. He married a lady named jannie mcknight.

William and jannie Baird had a son named, affe Baird he was the father of
sally Baird, peggie Baird, hessie Baird, and a son named Jim Baird after his
wives death. William Baird married Liza mims yarborou. Who had two brothers
Jim and George mims and her father was Wilson mims. Liza mims had for
children for Jim yarborou the children were, Jim, Fannie, Jane, bill. Their
father Jim yarborou was killed in the confederate war. 13 yr. later she
married affe Baird they had 2 children one died one son Garland A. Baird he
died at the age of 84, the grand son of William Baird the Irishman. Uncle
garland A. Baird was the half brother of sally Baird, henry wheeler Bairds
mother.

Sally Baird daughter of affe Baird married Joe Atkinson she had one son
Robert (doul) Atkinson. She left Joe and returned to live with her sister,
aunt Hessie who was married to young they had no children. Young was killed
in the confederate war. After his death she married a Mr. mimes, he was and
old man and he was overseer on the farm of Hugh mcfaddin.

Henry wheeler Baird was my grand father he married Annie Unice Baird in 1916
she was the daughter of Wilson Orine Baird and Lela Jane Coker. Here are
the children they had. Milder Inez Baird born Jan 25, 1918. Mary Geneva
bore Dec 20 1919. willar Mae Baird born Nov 7 1921. Died October 6 1966.
And a son named henry Jerome Baird (my father) was born on Jan 10, 1925.
Died Jan 21 1992 at the age of 67. Lela flroead, Annie Carolyn, son Wilson
o'Neal Baird, Tommie Lorine. After Annie's death on may 5th 1939.

He later married Amanda gibbons, after her death he remarried again to ileen
Dixon barrette and then he moved from new Zion section of clarendon county
to Sumter county until he died on October 19 1969.

This is what I can make out so far. I do know that Annie Unice Bairds
fathers name was Wilson Orine Baird. Her mother was Lela Jane Coker Baird.
Wilson Orine Baird was the son Jewell Baird (Jewll) was the brother of Mack
Baird (Uncle Mack Baird) sons Monroe, Dave, and daughter Lula, Corrine.

Lela Jane Coker daughter of bob Coker and Mary buddin coker, children were
tinna, Lela Jane and Maggie, brothers bob, reden and lizza brother sam.
TINNA MARRIED GARLAND A. BAIRD SON OF AFFE BAIRD GRANDSON OF WILLIAM BAIRD
OF IRELAND. GARLAND DIED SEPTEMBER 1975; HE WAS 98 YRS OLD.

Wilson Orine Bairds brothers are cleve, tom.

cleve married Ida Osborne, tom married Edith bateman and a brother Ed Baird.
Ed married lizza Coker here are there children. Lynwood and Alma earline
cullie.
