Hello,

This is my first posting to this list.

My oldest known BAIRD ancestor is Edward Barnett BAIRD, born 10 SEP
1815/19, in Frederick Co, MD.

Edward married Mary Elizabeth ARMITAGE on 26 MAR 1846, in Athens Co, OH.
He died 10 OCT 1880, in brookfield Twp, Clinton Co, IA.

His last name was changed to BEARD.

Edward had seven children:

Mary Elizabeth BEARD, who m. ____ HYDE
Emily Jane BEARD, who m. William (Jeff) CLARK
Christopher Armitage BEARD, who m. Roseltha ELWOOD
Joseph Herrold BEARD, who m. Alma (Alice) Mae BRIAR
David Moore BEARD, who m. Amy ___
Abram Lincoln BEARD, m. Martha Anna OGLEBAY
Schuyler Colfax BEARD
