I have a copy of your #3 Alexander BAIRD dated 13 Sep 1764. William BAIRD is
the Administrator of the estate. The witnesses were Mime V. Voorhies, ?
Voorhiese. He died without a will. I am researching the #5 Alexander BAIRD
he m. Elizabeth ELLIS in 1746. I would like to get a copy of the Somerset Co
Quarterly issues that you mention. I will try and find a scanner and send
this will.

I also have info found in "Genealogical Abstracts of Rev. War Pension Files"
Vol. IV: Index Abstracted by Vergil D. White 1992.

ensign in same Co & bro Benjamin Baird was a Maj in NJ Line, bro William Baird
later became Maj & he (John) was made Capt, sol m Catharine Dubois 14 Mar 1779
& she was b 1 Sep 1760, sol d 19 Mar 1834 & wid d 27 Nov 1837, in 1836 Abraham
D. a son lived Somerset Cty NJ, in 1836 Ellen Voorhees a sis of sol is
mentioned, family records; sol's grandfather's records; grandfather Alexander
Baird b 24 Apr 1700 in Scotland m Magdalan Van Flack in NY & their issue were;
a son still born 14 Feb 1701, sol's father William b 24 Feb 1704, Robert b 15
Sep 1705 & d 10 Nov 1752 & Isaac b 12 Aug 1709 & d 17 May 1752, sol's father's
records; father William Baird m Alice Van Cleaf on 10 Jun yr not stated, & he
d 11 Dec 1793 & their issue were; Alexander b 16-?- 1731, Magdalena b 18 Aug
1733 & d 24 Dec 1793, Elizabeth b 20 May 1735, Benjamin b 16 Jul 1737 & d 31
Mar 1777, Catharine b 7 May 1739, Robert b 31 Mar 1741, William b 22 Dec 1742,
Henrietta b 15 May 1744, Elenor b 17 Nov 1749 & sol John b 15 May 1755, sol's
issue were; Alice b 17 Oct 1779, Abraham Dubois b 19 Dec 1781, William b 25
Oct 1783 Jane b 21 Oct 1785, Magdalena b 19 Jul 1790, Margaret b 15 Jan 1793,
Nicholas Dubois b 24 Apr 1797, John, Jr. b 15 Jun 1799 & d 18 Oct 1825, Isaac
b 29 Mar 1802 & Benjamin b 1 Dec 1805, sol stated that at the battle of
Monmouth he was sent for to come home because his mother was sick & dying
