Have you discovered anything about Margaret's line?
I have never been able to ascertain if her name was Riley or O'Riley. I
suppose they are interchangeable.
Do you know if she came to NC to her son Andrew's home before her death?
Somewhere I read that she was buried in the family cemetery in Granite Falls,
NC, along with Andrew and his eldest son, Matthew. I have never found any
proof of this. I have been told that the old Andrew Baird family cemetery
has been found and restored and that the grave markers are currently stored
in the safe in City Hall! Anyone know about any of this?
