This is my third attempt to post a messge. Apparently I have typed it in
HTM text.
I am looking for anyone having information on John Hill Baird, m. to
Catharine Dean in 1818 in Brown County, Ohio. They had eleven children near
Georgetown from 1818-1838.
Abram Lawson Baird - 1818 died young
John Wilson Baird - 1820
Sarah Jane Baird - 1822
Ann Eliza Baird - 1823
Isabella Alvira Baird - 1825
Harriet Newell Baird - 1827
James Patterson Baird - 1829
Cyrus Milton - 1831 (Died day before Harvey Scott was born at age 3)
Harvey Scott Baird - 1833
Amzi Erwin Baird - 1835
Josiah Franklin Baird - 1838
In October of 1838 Catherine died. He married Margaret Garrett in 1840 and
in 1846 he moved his family to Putnam County, Illinois. Near Granville and
Hennepin.
I am interested in any information, marriage, land deeds, other records
showing he lived in Brown County. Also, who his parents and siblings are.
His youngest sister, Mary (1809-1888), married Nelson Shepherd. His oldest
sister was Nancy Elizabeth Baird (1788-1876) and she had married John
Shepherd. John Hill Baird and sisters were born in Lincoln County, NC.
