Thank you first for all the interesting messages I have been able to access
on this list.

My brickwall seems to be built in Abbeville.

I am looking for the parents of Prudence Gibson who married James Baird
(b.abt 1782 Abbeville,SC) in 1805.
They migrated to Randolph County, Illinois (near Sparta). She died 23 Aug
1843 and is buried near Sparta,
Randolph County, Illinois. The had 10 children:
Hugh Baird b. 20 Aug 1806 in SC
James Baird b. abt 1808 in SC
John P. Baird b. 12 Sep 1809 in SC
Mary Baird b. 11 Oct 1811 in SC
Robert Gibson Baird b. 4 Dec 1813 in Ohio
Elizabeth N. Baird b. 1 Mar 1816 in Ohio
Martha F F Baird b. abt 1818 in Ohio
Jemima Baird b. abt 1820 in Illinois
Nancy Jane Baird b. 19 Jan 1822 in Illinois
Alexander Porter Baird b. 30 Jan 1824 in Jackson, Illinois
