Whilst researching my REED family in the North East I have come across
the above lady and wondered whether anyone else on the list has come
across her.

Florence Hilda HOPE lived with my Great Grandparents John Henry FOSTER
and Florence Tamar REED in Leadgate, Durham. She was a relation of
some sort to Florence REED but it is not known how. She would have
been born around 1905.

The REEDs and the FOSTERS both originate in Stanhope but there is some
suggestion of Florence HOPE having come from Alnwick way.

Strangely, she had a brother with the surname BAIRD but nothing is known
about him.

Florence HOPE married a man called PURVIS and a fellow lister has a
photo of Florence Hope with the caption "Florence, Melvyn, June Purvis
and Nanna FOSTER" I am guessing this photo would have been taken some
time between the wars.

Has anyone come across this combination of names please? I know it's
not a great deal to go on.
