Hi everyone, hope I am doing this right. Here goes.

My two time great grandfather was Samuel Baird, b. April 26, 1814 Perry Co., Ohio, m. August 14, 1843 prob. Ohio, Elizabeth Harmon. He was her second husband. Samuel d. February 16, 1898 Winlock, Washington, bur. there.
He stated on the 1880 Federal Census for Houston Co., Minnesota, that his father was born in New Jersey and his mother was from New York.
Their children were:
Obadiah Allen Baird, b. July 26, 1835.
Elijah Murdick Baird, b. April 19, 1837.
Catherine Baird, b. May 7, 1839.
Jonathan Harmon Baird, b. December 31, 1840.
Jacob Wesley Baird, b. July 26, 1843.
Mary Jane Baird, b. September 22, 1847.
William Henry Baird, b. December 6, 1853.
John Alexander Baird, b. March 12, 1855.
Absolom Barnett Baird, b. November 11, 1860.

All born in Carroll Co., Ohio, with the possible exception of Absolom, who may have been born in Houston Co., Minn.
