Hi Joyce,
You must be doing something right, as the message I am replying to
posted ok on the BAIRD-L list.
There have been various problems on the mail lists since Rootsweb
updated their spam and security software.
I'm not the BAIRD-L list administrator, but you should be able to
contact that person by e-mail (below).
(They can check the list admin "Blocked" page, and post messages that
otherwise won't be posted, and perhaps give you more posting assistance.)

I've found that sometimes it is very hard to determine why a certain
message (forwards or replys especially) won't post (once I never did
figure it out, and I retyped everything into a new message). Sometimes
it is a certain e-mail clients way of commenting an original message in
a reply (so taking out the original message may help), or extra spaces,
or not choosing "Plain Text", or if attachments are present, etc., but
ALMOST ALWAYS AN ORIGINAL E-MAIL MESSAGE LIKE THE ONE YOU JUST SENT WILL
WORK. This situation is embarrassing and quite frankly intolerable
sometimes, so I would like to apologize to you, and we all hope the
problems are addressed and solved by Rootsweb in a reasonable amount of
time.
Here is a tip I use all the time (and I will use it on this message): If
you suspect that a message might not post, be sure to save it as a
"Template" (in Netscape) before you send it, that way if it does not
post, you can resurrect it from the templates folder, and "Edit message
as New" in the "Message" menu, and try again after eliminating extra
spaces, etc.
These Posting Tips might help:

Our Newest Search Aids are discussed here:

If all else fails, send your message directly to the BAIRD-L list
administrator (address above), or directly to me () to
get it posted.
I hope this helps, and I hope you hear from the BAIRD-L list admin to
add comment to this issue...
