Mary,

First of all, the only way I know to do a quick research using the
Baldwin Genealogy Book by C.C.Baldwin, is one of 2 ways. 1/ Know the
spouses name 2/ Know the line of Baldwin or the first Baldwin in this
country from Bucks County, England. This book deals primarily with New
England settlers to Milford, Ct., Norwich, Ct., Billerica, Mass.,
Woburn, Mass. Otherwise you are talking about hours of research which
nobody has. I know your line is Joseph of Milford, Ct., so that
narrows the list down quite a bit, which I checked and only came up with
one New York person. That being Simeon Coe, who's father was born
Durham, N. Y., May 4, 1791. The son Simeon Coe Baldwin was born March
10, 1813 in Volney, N.Y.(I don't know where that is)? Durham is in
Green County, N. Y. and is about 15 miles east of Delaware County.
