Hello Joyce and any others with an Ephraim. There are about 25 listings
of Ephraim in CC Baldwin's Book.
Below is the John traced here to Ephraim Warner Baldwin./
I will quote as is in Book the Minnimum element of the Gen. If more is
wanted I would probably have to snail mail.

Page 297 CC Baldwin Book 1881
***John Baldwin of Milford, Connecticut. is said to be son of Sylvester
who was son of Richard who came with the New Haven Company, but John may be
a brother to Sylvester??
There is more disputing the later and giving more on possibility.
John b prob ( by Maxine, abt 1615-1620?) as of date of first child?.

Elizabeth, bapt. 19 Jul 1649 mar. a Porter ( can't tell which one, in the
book it says).
Joseph bapt. 9 Nov. 1651.+

children by 2nd.
Mary, Sarah, Abigail, Obediah, George, Hannah.
The continueation to Ephraim Warner is from 1st wife Mary ? next, the
above Joseph ,7th child.

***Joseph bapt. 9 Nov 1651+ in Milford Ct. mar. Elizabeth Botsford, dau of
Elnathan Botsford of Milford, who survived him. He joined the church in
1691 , and was excommunicated in 1692. I am afraid , that to 1695, he fell
from grace. 13 mar. 1719, then of New Haven, he deeds to his sons Joseph
and Ephraim. His nuncupative will was proved the same year by the oath of
Elizabeth Baldwin, Sen.

Judah, minor in 1719, d before Jan 1729 without issue. Joseph may have had
other daughters??

***Ephraim ., b in Milford Ct. He has deed from his father in 1719, and
ear-mark in 1720. His father died in 1719, ( Joseph), . I think he was
Ephraim of Bethlehem, Ct. died 10 feb 1796 aged 95.

*** Ephraim JR. , of Woodbury, died 9 May 1777, whose estate settled in
1777 as name of Ephraim
Jr. ,went to his wife Sarah and children.

There is more on some of the above.

There is no more here on Ephraim Warner Baldwin. Some on the Ephraim's above
was in an addendum. I have a Suppliment and there may be more on him in it
as it was printed in 1889. This first book was printed in 1881.
I will see if I can find it in a box due to revamp of office and send to
you if there is.
