J. Lee,
In Frank C. Baldwin's book: "The Baldwins from Virginia Westward". He
lists on page
19. B103 Arata Baldwin, died: Feb 28, 1867 in Macon County,
Illinois. This Arata
Baldwins parents were William Baldwin born: July 5, 1770 in Berkeley
County, WVa.,
died: Feb 1, 1838 in McLean County, Illinois. He married Mary Denman
daughter of
Moses Denman. Undoubtedly since Seaborn also married one of the
Hampton sisters, he
is also part of this family. Frank C. Baldwin lists the children of
William Baldwin and
Mary Denman as: 1/ William, 2/ Moses b. 1789, John b. Aug 1, 1801, 4/
James b. Aug 7,
1806, 5/ Benjamin L., 6/ Lebrum, 7/ Arata (already mentioned). I think
I would write
Frank C. Baldwin. The address I have is: 930 Asbury Ave., Evanston,
Illinois 60202.
