I made a trip to the Library. These are my results and are interesting.
Seems I am wrong on some things, and right on others.
I looked at 1870, Fayette County, Illinois, Hurricane Township.
This is a small township of only about 200 households, and I would
suspect that everyone living there in 1870 was a friend or relative of
each other. So it was interesting to see where people came from and who
was living next to whom.
First of all..
My ancestor William Baldwin 64 Farmer TN
Nancy A. 65 NC
Susan 62 TN
My deduction from this is that Anna Baldwin's name was indeed actually
Nancy Ann. Also, the Susan (or Susannah) that was in the 1850 census
really does have the last name of Baldwin which means she is NOT
Susannah Nave. She is more likely the sister of William or a sister in
law. It is curious why she has lived with them for over 20 years.

There is Willis Dodson 55 IN
Polly 52 TN
(This would point to the fact that my Willis Dodson Baldwin was indeed
somehow named for Willis Dodson Sr. who was an early settler of Fayette
County)

Campbell Nave 64 TN
Sally 60 KY
Joseph 22 IL
Eliza 23 IL
Orpha 15 IL
(This is the brother of Valentine and Tennessee Nave)

(I am wondering if this is an older son of William Davidson and Joanna?)

(This is Angeline Baldwin, daughter of William Baldwin listed at the top
of this page. I thought maybe she had married a Valentine Nave, Jr, but
I was obviously wrong. This is obviously Valentine Nave, Sr.. He is the
brother of Campbell and Tennessee)

Elizabeth 43 KY
(The Nowlin children are also listed living with them, but I was in a
hurry!)

(There are also kids, but well... you know...I was in a hurry!)
