Hey Cousin! I'm also related to John Baldwin of Stonington, and know of the
multitude of John Baldwins. I'm also from Sylvester (who died on the ship),
John (who moved to Stonington when he married the widow Rebecca Palmer
Chesebrough) (1635-1683), Theoplihus (who married Priscilla Mason) (1683-?),
John (1711-1760) who married Eunice Spaulding, who had John (1752-1814) who
had Daniel (1783-?) who had John Denison Baldwin (the author of the
pamplet?), and my ancestor Ziba Baldwin (1755-1803) who is buried in
Stonington, who had Hezekiah (1783-1876) who moved to Duanesburg NY, then to
Coeyman's Hollow NY, then to New Baltimore NY, and is buried in New
Baltimore, who had William North (1816-1900), who also moved to New
Baltimore, who had William Henry (1846-1922) who ran Baldwin's Shipyard in
New Baltimore, who had my grandfather Harry Jones (1884-1938), who had my
Dad Harry Jones Baldwin Jr (1911-1982), who had me Bertha Baldwin
Onderchain.
