Patricia,
I am interested if you possibly know Elizabeth Smith born: July 1,
1726, parents name?
Why I say this is that there was an Elizabeth Smith of Edgecombe County,
North
Carolina, daughter of George Smith, Will dated January 21, 1745/6 of
Northampton
County, North Carolina. Elizabeth married a William Baldwin born:
1692 in Chester
County, Pa.. You should check out Stewart Baldwins Home Page.
Http://sbaldw.home.mindspring.com/baldwin/b1.htm. Stewart has brought
us new
research of the ancestry of John and William Baldwin of Bucks County,
Pa., which is
your ancestry. You might note on page 5: 2. William Baldwin b. 20
2mo. (April) 1720
(34)"He md. 1st Elizabeth, whose maiden name has not been proven, but
who appears to
have been the daughter of John and Sarah (Lloyd) Morgan of Frederick
County, Va..
Bill Baldwin
