I am not saying you're wrong, and it certainly gives me a new
avenue of research to plow, but Keziah is a reasonably common (well, ok, a
not desperately uncommon) 18th and 19th C. New England given name in its
own right. It is an old testament name, Keziah being one of the daughters
of Job. I suspect that, to the extent it is used as a nickname for
Cassandra, such usage is probably more recent.
