I too have wondered if the names could be switched, my Mom is sure they
aren't but ya never know. I should know within the month because I sent to
Iowa for my great grandmother's birth certificate and his death certificate.
Warren County, Iowa must have more mail from me than any one single person. I
have gone send crazy for documents. From what I understand he was born in
March of 1849, now that's not far off from your date. he died Nov. 4, 1925
and his wife died in 1927
The closest we can come to the children are: Della Mae, John, Thomas,
Benjamin,
Cora (my g grandmother) and Sarah Elizabeth. I have some dates and years for
others if they sound familiar to you.
