I have an extract from the Methodist Church in Canastota, NY Pastor's
Register Pastor F. J. Whitney
"October 30, 1870 Alvin Wells Oneida Co NY
Lydia H. Vizor
Wed at the Parsonage
Witnesses: The Pastor's Family
Fee $5"
My GreatGrandmother was married August 10, 1870
"John Moyer Canastota, NY (down North)
Alice E. (her obit says M.) Baldwin
Wed at J. G. Bauders
Witnesses: Mrs. Tackabury and Mrs. Bordwell
present
Fee $2"
I would wonder why the latter is only $2 instead of $5, There were others
for $5 and one for $3.
There were others, one couple from Eaton, approx. 30 miles south of
Canastota and Warsaw, NY.
At the Presbyterian Church, # 4Register we have a" Miss Jennie Wells Moyer
or Myer January 6, 1884 letter recieved Boone, Ia. (Iowa??) 3/24/87
dismissed: When and Whither died: ".
I am trying to find if Mrs. Bordwell is family.........grayce
