To Nancy Lewis Millsap:
On October 20, 2000 you posted the following on Genforum: "I recently found
my grandmother's autograph book from 1904, Harlan, Shelby Co., IA, which
contained the following names: BALDWIN, H., 6 Jun 1904/5, Ottawa, KS;
BALDWIN, Edna, 6 Jun 1905, Salina, KS."
I am extremely interested in the autograph book you mentioned, especially
the Baldwin entries. There is an Edna Baldwin in my branch who was born Dec
1887 in Fountain Twp, Ottawa County, KS. She was the daughter of Henry W.
Baldwin and Mary Araminta Hill. Members of this family also lived in Salina,
KS and Solomon, KS. Can you explain more to me about the autographs and the
connection to Shelby County, Iowa?
