Re the notation on James Meredith Ballou. I "may" have traced this
lneage back to the later part of the 17th century in Henrico County, Va.
though as it was a collateral line, I ended with the 15 children of
(Owen) Meredith Ballou who died in 1847 in Ashe County, NC.
