Subject: Mankin Family - St. Mary's Hall

I am looking for information / descendants of the Mankin family living in
Baltimore County at St. Mary's Hall in the 1850's. My great great grandfather
was an artist named Augustus John who was born in Germany. He taught the
Mankin daughters painting and I have a letter to share. I would like to see
if any prints or photos exist of St. Mary's Hall or of the family. Anyone
knowing the whereabouts of works by Augustus John (1821-1868) please contact
me. There is a painting of Jones Falls by John, dated 1849, in the Maryland
Historical Society.
