summary of this area/time. John Digges, typical Maryland Planter and
slave holder,...granted 10,000 acres by lord Baltimore...children:
Edward, Dudley, William, Henry, John, Elinore, and Elizabeth....
John Digges Sr. was 4th gen. descendant of Sir Dudley Digges, an Irish
nobleman, who lost his life in service to King Charles I of England.
Sir Dudley->Edward->William->Ignatius->John Sr.
John Sr. owned land in PG, St Marys, and Baltimore Co. besides the
adjacent Digges Choice portion in adjacent PA. Dick
