To all that have requested info on the family of William Rutledge, s/o
William, I have managed to put together a report along with Notes that I used
to put this together with. I make no apologies if some of this is in error. I
lost some of my notes when I purchased my new Computer. Something that I had
not been aware of is the Notes that Joe Elliott, sent to me. I had not
realized was that there was a Henry Harford, which I presume was where the
name for Harford Co.
The family of Thomas Rutledge who married 4 times is also from the notes I
have with him. Somehow I had thought he had a larger family then he did.
You can put the following notes with the proper families that is listed in
the Gen, report that I have already sent.
Rachel Demaree Clemons

the patent map; patented to Elizabeth S. Miles in 1802, 55 acres.
William was the "Black Sheep" of the family. When his father died he
inherited by right of being eldest son.
