Can anyone shed some light at how I may trace my heritage beyond Samuel
Augustus Knox? Some brief info: my father was Kenneth Miller Knox (b.
1914, D. 1973) to Francis Ignatius Knox (b.1887, d. 1960) and Minnie Eliz.
Miller (b. 1890, d.1944). Both were from G-burg. The parents of Francis were
Samuel Augustus Knox (b. July 20, 1858 in Carroll County, MD , and d. Aug.
28, 1922) and Louvina Brown (b. Aug. 8, 1861, D. Feb. 22, 1942). Samuel's
parents were John Robison Knox (b. Oct. 16, 1823, d. Oct. 7, 1888) and Mary
Ann Wills (b. ca 1825, d. ?). John's parents were William ? Knox (b. 1796,
d. Oct. 19, 1853 @ 57 years and 10 days old, per Piney Creek Cemetery) and
Barbara (last name unknown) who was born March 16, 1793 or 1798 and d. Jan.
1 or 10, 1880. Beyond that my link is weak, but William was said to have
been born to John ? Knox and wife Jane ? (middle & last names unknown, plus
birth & death dates unknown as well).
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Ken Knox.
