Thank you for that interesting web site. I am curious about one
statement in it though. The writer said that in the 1850 one could be
naturalized in a few days of arrival! I didn't know that was true. I
have always believed that you had to wait 5 years. Does anyone know of
a time period when there was no waiting to become naturalized?
