I am sending this via the LIST because if anyone reading this message
and has Pfeiffers in the region West of Temeswar which might tie in
please contact Judy Kaufmann or myself. We need all the help we can get.

Judy;
I have returned from a week in Salt Lake. I spent some time looking for
Pfeiffers in the ortschaften around Lenauheim and Gr Jetscha. I looked
at film for the following villages and searched a 10-12 year period
centered around 1794 (the probable date of birth of Christina Pfeiffer
who is later married in Gr Jetscha)in each case. If I found Pfeiffers
then I may have gone outside of this time range.

Brabatz
Ostern
Kl Jetscha
Neubeschenowa
Kl Betschkerek All with no Pfeiffers
Billed Wilhelm Pfeifer and Maria Anna,
House No 175
kids, Geo, b 19 Apr 1793
Katharina, b 6 Jan 1995
Lenauheim Wilhelm Pfeiffer and Elis Mayer, m 15 May 1792
and kids which you previously found. In addition there was a Stefan
Pfeiffer and Anna Maria Schwmer,
kids, Heinrich, b 15 Dec 1775 and Joh Geo, b 28 Nov 1778.
I did not check the death records in Lenauheim.
The above two Lenauheim families could well be sons of Johann Pfeiffer
the original Lenauheim settler and who came to Lenauheim as teenagers.
This can probably only be sorted out by finding this family in the Mainz
records.
Gertianosch had a mob of Pfeiffers.

This all looked really good and the above Christina, b 1 Jul 1793,
seemed a good fit with the one who was married in Gr Jetscha until I
made the mistake of looking at the death records.

So I'll have to look further afield for Christina.
