There are no less than 13 Altmeyers in Stader. However, out of these 13
there is a Franz Altmayer who was in St Hubert in 1785. Registered in
Wien on 29 Aug 1785, was a farmer, age 37, catholic, with wife, 4 sons
and one daughter, total 7 in the party. and was from
Niederstinzel/Lorraine. Niederstinzel is north of Saarburg/Lorraine.
They were einquart in St Hubert from 1 Oct 1785 to 31 Oct 1786. One kid
died on 25 Aug 1786.
There were other Altmeyer settlers in Hatzfeld, Lenauheim, Guttenbrunn,
Mercydorf and Schoendorf.
There are three Dekolts, all from Luxemburg.
Only one Nikolaus;
Dekolt, Nikolaus born about 1732, was in Heufeld in
1785.?Lazerfeld/Banat, 1834 in Klek, died 1 Apr 1834 in Klek at the age
of 102. Wife 1oo Maria Johanna N born about 1743 in Luxemburg, died 17
Aug 1806 in Heufeld. IIoo 28 Oct 1806 in Heufeld to Elisabeth Mueller a
Wd with 1-3 kids in ?, 4-7 in Heufeld(Joh b 69, Mich b 75, Joh 80, Joh
26 Jun 85, Rosi 29 Aug 87, AM 6 Aug 90, A 22 Nov 07.
There are 12 Gaisser(Gaiser)---only one Jakob.
Jakob Gaisser from Gammertingen, which is northeast of
Ebingen/Wuerttemberg. Wife and 7 kids. Went to Hungary in 1712,
Destination not given.
TO THE OTHER QUERIES FOR NAMES IN STADER. AS HAS BEEN REPETEDLY
STRESSED IN THIS PLACE THE VOLUMES SO FAR PUBLISHED OF STADER COVER ONLY
NAMES STARTING WITH A-G. SEE MESSAGE FROM GUENTER REGARDING THE SCOPE
AND LIMITATIONS OF STADER.
