If it was Glogon I can tell you there are lots of Johs (Joss, Josz also)
there in the church records (available on film at LDS Church libraries) and
also mentioned in the village book "Mit Uns im Glogonji" by Franz Lang. Do
you have more details on family members as brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts,
birth dates, and other vital dates of family?
Did other family members go to Argentina? Come to USA? Go back to Glogon?
Will be visiting my film on Glogon (3 rolls) this week and if knew more
details could give a quick look to confirm village. Births go to 1869,
deaths to 1872, and marriages only to 1851. >
