I agree with the suggestion about passenger lists as a good starting point.
You can now request the National Archives forms via e-mail. Below is the
information I saved from a newsgroup posting. You'll want Form 81.
I've heard they can also be requested by phone from 1-202-501-5400. The fee
is low, I believe $10, and only charged if they find a record.
BTW, microfilm copies of the Baltimore lists are located in the Philadelphia
(Mid-Atlantic) Archives branch, as well as the main Washington DC location.
I'd offer to do a lookup in Philadelphia, but due to my workload I won't be
able to get downtown for awhile.
