I'm new to this mailing list but I'm starting to recognize names and
family histories already. Some of the talk goes over my head, but
somebody I plan to know what all these books and sources you guys
discuss are.

I'm looking for information on the BIERER and DRECHSLER families, who
moved to Hrastovac (also called Eichendorf), Slavonia in the late
1800s. This town is southeast of Zagreb. They came from Hungary, from
Barcs and Bigal and earlier from Germany, from where I don't know yet.
Also, I'm researching other families from this town, e.g. ELLENBERGER,
MILLER, MULLER, FAUST, SCHERER, etc.
