I certainly cannot comment regarding the idea of a law firm specializing in
genealogy. However given the current state of political affairs in Serbia
(formerly known as Yugoslavia), I would be hesitant at sending any money at the
moment. I am not sure of the accuracy of the statement in the email, but if
the sender of the email is being truthful regarding the church records, then it
is good bet that they have already been microfilmed to begin with and I would
be inclined to pursue renting those films through an LDS history center before
I sent money overseas.
