Banat Listers:
With David Dreyer's help , I am compiling a list of members who are
interested in obtaining microfilms of various Banat Church Books with the
hope of ordering several and sharing cost. The goal here is to get a
significant number of interested members for several films to minimize cost
and make the transaction worthwhile for as many as possible. These films
should increase the number of years covered by the LDS FHC KB microfilms at
each village. I plan to submit an offer for the top 2-3 villages within the
next 2-4 weeks. Right now I have the following sites requested with the
(number) of individuals willing to share cost. If you haven't received
confirmation that your name on the list, please send me your area(s) of
interest. I will give you full details of cost for your final yes/no
decision before the order is placed. Again, there is no guarantee that the
offer we make will be accepted by the National Archives. However, our
previous order netted valuable films currently unavailable at Family History
Centers.
