I agree with Susan...I had been searching for literally years to find a way
to bridge
a gap re the"missing church years". This past spring I took a chance and
wrote to
the Romanian Archives - within a month they sent me TONS of info - for free -
just
wanted me to pay for the copies. It only cost me $35.00 (including the bank
charges) and I got back many generations and was able to bridge a gap to the
church records that are available. The records they sent were very nice and
I, for
one, am really grateful for what I got. I've had to pay much more in this
country for
as much as they sent me. I'll take whatever I can get. $20.00 goes a LONG
way
in Romania... and it isn't much to us........Judy
