The Waffen SS was not an "elite" fighting force.
I had 2 uncles, living near Djakova, that were "drafted" into the Waffen SS
against their will and without any training were sent to the front in Poland.
One of them was barely 16 years old. As far as any treaty against drafting
citizens of other countries. Please remind me again, when was it that Hitler
started abiding by any treaty?
