I am looking for information on a Michel & Barbari Steitmatter(nee Schmidt) that left the Black forest area in Germany some time after 1830. They first went to Vienna & then settled in Vetchahorse in the Banat. They had a least one child there, name Adam Steitmatter who married a Terisa Rosse or Rosa. They had 3 children, winze, Peter & Franz. The family moved to Josesdorf, and after Michel's death the rest of the family immigrated to North Dakota in1898.

If any one has and info where I could start looking or a Genealogy ace, in that area that I could use to help me.
