Fred,

I'm addressing this to you because you mom was so kind to share with me
some of her memories as a young girl crossing the Atlantic.
After our discussing Ellis Island this week, I thought she might
be willing to share her memories of her arrival ... first Ellis
Island and then the US itself.

And any others of you who still have some of these brave adventurerers with
you ... won't you sit with them and record their memories on a tape
recorder. That way they will be saved for your descendants ... and
hopefully be able to be shared with mine if you
will post them to the list.

I collected a few of the ones about the ship crossing. Now I'd love to
share the arrivals with you all.

mentioned you mom's maiden name ... Prunkl.
