My grandfather told many stories of the old country, which became part
of family legend. However, my husband and I one day asked him some
questions for additional information, and he refused. My impression is
that by that time (early 1960s) he couldn't be bothered or his memories
might have begun to fade. Most frustrating, though, are the unmarked
pictures. Who are these people?? I may never know.
