Hello Susan,

My grandmothers sister told me her grandparents, Nikolaus Kappler and Elisabeth Huy where from Johannisfeld and that Nikolaus worked as estate administrator on the Mocioni (not sure if I speled the name wright) estate in Bucoveti. My Grandmother told me they moved to Fatschet later. They had 8 children, I think all of them born in Fatschet, but I'm not sure about it. Theyr names where Katharine, Elisabeth (my g-grandmother),Nicklos, Juliane, Rosalia,Julius, Anna and Fritz. Katharine, Anna and Juliane went to the US but only Katharine stayed there. Anna lived in Vrsec?/Yugoslavia and Juliane in Egger/Hungary. I am still trying to get more information from my grandmother and her sister. But they kinda mix up things sometimes and don't remember birthdays anymore. Nikolaus and Elisabeth are buried in Fatschet as far as I know, and my g-grandparents in Lugosch.
