In case you don't know or never heard the word "Dampf" (I think it's spelled
right, unless otherwise proven wrong) means "steam". The "Dampfnudel" are
cooked in "steam" and they are so good and guaranteed you won't lose any
weight.
Sorry, since we are not allowed to discuss "politics, religion, food and sex
on the List anymore, I won't post the recipe. If you're interested, I'll be
glad to send it to you, or I could posted it to the "Kitchen Website" (Steve
Herold's site). I know they make them in Banat, Batschka, etc..but the
Germans from Bessarabia made the best "Dampfnudel". "Och du lieber Gott, is
that ever -schmackhaft-.
