Debbie,
I live in Lakewood, Oh and may be able to help you by looking in the city
directories. Clifton Street (now Clifton Blvd) is at the top of my
Street. The Lakewood Historical Society is also nearby. Lakewood is
only 3 square miles large. I have easy access to the city directories at
the library. I'll see what I can find. Also, FYI, Lakewood holds their
own birth and death records at city hall-most of the other Cleveland
Suburbs records are at Cleveland City Hall.
Do you have any other information about any of these Lakewood/Cleveland
bound people? I'll see what I can dig up.
I have an Albert Blum that married Florence Murphy on my husband's side
of the family. He was born in 1885 and died July 25, 1961 in Oberlin,
Lorain Co, Ohio. They had a daughter Elanore Blum. Don't know if there
is a possible connection or not. The Murphy's lived in Cleveland at one
time.
Lilly
