Scott ,
My Molidorf family came from the Hunsrück area of Germany to settle in
Sellesch/Nakodorf & Hatzfeld before moving to Molidorf .
I had a little lucky break when I heard from a distant cousin that my Geml
ancestors had come from a town named Hinzerath near Morbach in the Hunsrück
region of Germany .
Then Deborah Kristmann a very kind listmember did a look-up for me in the
Stadter books & confirmed that some Gemls came from Hinzerath while others
from towns nearby such as Hundheim & Kirchberg .
We paid a short visit to Hinzerath this past summer & found no Geml
families in the town but had another lucky break when we found two Geml
families in a nearby town of Wenigerath .
So Dave is right on the money once again .
Have you tried a look at the Hatzfeld records or perhaps a look-up in the
Stadter books would give you more clues ?
Good Luck

Anita
