Denise,
One suggestion that might be a possibility is death records. One some of the
death records I have from the US there is a line titled: "If Married,
Widowed or Divorced Husband or wife of_______"
so there is a chance her widows name will be there. But of course she may
have remarried in the US also.
Also there is a line for "Name of Father" so I think the death record for
her daughter Anna might have Mr. Hacks full name.
Just a suggestion. Good Luck!
