Hello Ray,

You should be able to exchange at Timisoara, as we did a few years ago. You
should also be able to use a MAC machine in downtown Timisoara. I would
caution you against obtaining to much local currency, as you probably not be
able to re-exchange it when you leave the country.

Also, you should be able to use a credit card for your hotel. I would suggest
that, rather than use local currency.

If you do not have a "guide" to assist you, I could recommend one privately
if you are interested.
